Our business is family-owned and operated. I, Sandra, facilitate orders; sales, marketing and production. My husband Neil, is the mushroom guru. He grows the reishi, makes cultures, spawn and extract and develops our products. He is our fungi guy, and is a wealth of information. Neil has an incredible in-depth and well researched knowledge of medicinal mushrooms, edible and gourmet mushrooms as well as poisonous mushrooms. Between the two of us we have personal experience in growing exotic gourmet mushrooms for the pot, as well as for retailers. Our three children, are also involved – mostly tolerating our passion. But our eldest, Amy, loves mushroom hunting with her dad, Hannah, prefers to use our homemade reishi/aqueous mix when she has excema and Aeden,because of his asthma, allergies and ADHD takes reishi extract regularly.
