On in every 10,000 trees, making it very rare and kept solely for royalty. Reishi has many benefits and has been hailed as an elixir of great importance.
Since the 1970′s it has been farmed commercially, making it more available. It is indigenous to South Africa and commonly found growing on acacia and jacaranda trees.

Anti-cholesterol – reishi showed significant preventive and therapeutic action against plaque build-up in the arteries which leads to atherosclerosis.
